What Is PRF Bio-Filler?

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) Gel / Filler / EZ Gel is a volumising treatment that uses your own blood rather than synthetic materials. The gel is prepared from a small blood sample using a TGA-registered medical device (ARTG: 527818) and delivered via injection. This technology is the same as EZ Gel, used by practitioners internationally including in the USA and Europe. As the treatment is derived entirely from your own blood, the risk of adverse reactions is significantly lower compared to synthetic volumising agents. Individual responses vary and results are not guaranteed.

Important Information

• Drink plenty of water before your appointment. 1.5 litres is recommended approximately two hours prior.

• Avoid fatty foods, animal products, and alcohol for 48 hours prior — your blood is your treatment.

• Reschedule if you are currently fighting an active infection.

• Cease smoking at least seven days before your appointment.

• Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen (Nurofen/Advil), vitamin E, fish oil, garlic supplements, turmeric, and ginkgo biloba for one to two weeks prior. Only stop these if approved by your treating doctor.

• Not suitable for: blood disorders, chronic liver disease, malignancy, pregnancy, or anticoagulation therapy such as warfarin.
